Clinic
From the beginning we have hosted a small clinic on site which serves the local community. Thanks to generous support, we are now building a 35 bed cottage hospital which will expand the range of treatments to include minor surgery and midwifery.
The Ruwenzori Foundation has had a long association with Dr Henry White and his support and generous donations have been essential to our progress. His charity, the Ruwenzori Health and Education Foundation, sponsors the Kyemihoko clinic, helping to integrate the foundry and its activities within the local area. The social and health benefits to the village are enormous and trustees are very grateful for this facility which not only complements our objectives but offers so much to the local community.
