In early 2014 the Foundation invited the recently formed Karamajong Sculpture Group to Kyemihoko for a carving workshop. The purpose of the invitation was firstly to produce carvings with the stones we had left over from the carving workshops and secondly to introduce the group to the idea of a setting up a sculpture centre in their part of the country. This would provide a focal point from which they could sell their work and by seeing what we had achieved so far with the workshops and gallery, they could gauge the potential benefit in starting something similar in their own community.
